USA Today bestselling author Adrienne Giordano likes to tell people she is a Jersey girl at heart, but now lives in the Midwest. Adrienne developed a love of writing as a child when she would create homemade books complete with hand drawn covers. As a teenager, Adrienne’s older sister introduced her to her first Nora Roberts book and a love affair with romantic fiction began. When Sydney Sheldon’s Rage of Angels was released in 1980, Adrienne became hooked on thrillers as well as romance novels. This led to her a search for books that combined her favorite genres.
In her early thirties, while working in and around the newspaper and advertising industry, Adrienne decided it was time to chase her childhood dream of writing a book. She started her first romantic suspense (a book that will never see the light of day) and when it reached five-hundred pages, she decided to put it out of its misery and lock it in a drawer. With hard lessons learned, Adrienne wrote Risking Trust, the first book in the Private Protectors series.
By 2013, Adrienne had left the advertising industry to work full-time as a writer.
